Himalayan Alpine and Young Buddha

Himalayan Alpine and Young Buddha – 2020 – DJK

Kanchenjunga, Lumbini, Nepal, Birthplace of the Buddha

“He is the knower of worlds because he has known the world in all ways. For the Blessed One has experienced, known and penetrated the world in all ways as to its individual essence, its arising, its cessation, and all ways as o its individual essence, its arising, its cessation, and the means to its cessation, according as it is said: ‘friend, that there is a world’s end where one neither is born nor ages nor dies nor passes away, nor reappears, which is to be known or seen or reached by travel-that I do not say. Yet I do not say that there is an ending of suffering without reaching the world’s ends. Rather, it is in this fathom-long car-case with its perceptions and its consciousness that I make know the world, the arising of the world, the cessation of the world, and the way leading to the cessation of the world.”

-Spoken of the Buddha – Visuddhimagga

The “Blessed One” in reference here to the Buddha, but the “Blessed Ones”, individuals past, there experiences mythified over centuries, teachers of experience, their experience of the world spanning the totality of the human experience, there experience spanning the many realms and worlds of cosmic and earthly existence.

To learn from there teachings, the books and scriptures made of there teachings is to know the world through those formations, the formations of teachers old, like boats across the ocean. Footsteps of the human experience as ones own path, ones own experience unfolds before them.

There is a way things are and stories are told on top of that.
